What's Life All About?
I hope you already know and just want to find out if we agree, but if not I'm glad you asked.
Please read this with an open mind and check your heart (or gut or inner self, which sometimes reveals itself as your conscience) because that is where your spirit usually speaks to you. That is where you will hear God's Holy Spirit talk to you in a still small voice.

It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for.  Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, He had His eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose He is working out in everything and everyone. (Ephesians 1 : 9 - 12    Message Translation) ... for in Him we live and move and have our being... (Acts 19 : 28 New King James Version)

Why should I believe the Holy Bible?
Do you know of any other ancient book that accurately prophesies events hundreds or thousands of years in advance?  Do you think Israel is a nation again, after almost 2000 years, that it is the focus of international attention by accident?   Do you think the recently discovered Bible Codes could have been written by anyone other than an All-knowing God?  Do you realize that Einstein's Theory General Relativity that supports Genesis is being proved more conclusively by each new experiment?  Do you realize the Theory of Evolution, is being proved incorrect as science advances?   Since evolution is based on "simple" cells, the theory fails in face of modern molecular biology that proves that cells are based on a complex design of chemical interactions that could not come together independently but rather must have been designed to be present and functioning before a living cell could exist? Do you know that the second law of thermodynamics says that the universe is tending toward LESS order. This is a natural law not a theory and prohibits amoebas from turning into mice or men.  Check out this short Flash story The Watchmaker that says it much better than I can in a way that is very entertaining.

If you do not believe in the Holy Bible
Are you so sure of your opinion that you are willing to face the consequences if you are wrong?

Are you seeking a Higher Self?
"For God knows that in that day... your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God..."  Consider the source!  The Serpent in the Garden of Eden!   Satan is a liar and the father of all lies. Don't fall for the deception (Genesis 3 : 5 & John 8 : 44 New King James Version)

Reincarnation?  Sort of...
Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."  Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born again when he is old?..."  Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  That which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." That sounds a whole lot better than the possibility of coming back as a frog. (Gospel of John 3 : 3 - 6   New King James Version)

Do you think Christians believe in more than one God?
We believe in ONE God, but if you think that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit sound like more than one God, you are not using the right equation. It is NOT 1+1+1, as you might suppose. You need a higher level of understanding. I would like you to consider that it is more like 1 x 1 x 1 = 1 Think about a traditional family with children. The father is also somebody's son... but that doesn't make him any less of a father... it probably makes him a better father. He is also a husband, but that doesn't take away from his being a father or son. This isn't even factoring in his job or hobbies. He is still only ONE man and yet he has multiple facets to his life. How can we expect God to be less complex than one average human being? Jesus is just the way God appeared on earth to reveal the Father and Holy Spirit to us... and He is coming back, soon. For those of us who accept Him as the savior of the world it will be a joyous time! For those who reject Jesus, they will live through the tribulation described in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. As I said before: Are you so sure of your opinion that you are willing to face the consequences if you are wrong?

Do you know Jesus?
If you don't know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and would like to know Him, just pray this prayer.   As you confess it with your mouth and believe it with your heart, you will be "born again." (Romans 10: 9-10)  You will meet Jesus!

Lord Jesus, I need You in my life.  I believe You are the Son of God and that you died on the cross for me.  Please forgive me for my sins and create a clean, new heart in me.  Renew my spirit so that I can hear Your voice.  I accept You as my Savior!  You are my Lord!

Welcome to the family of God!

Now there are three things you will want to do:
1)  Get a Bible.  Any translation that you can understand is OK, I like the New King James Version, red letter version.    Most new Christians start with The Gospel of John then read Genesis and the Psalms. You can find them easily by checking the Table of Contents.
2)  Talk to God everyday; the same way you talk to your best friend, because He is. That is what Christians call prayer.
3)  Find a loving church that teaches about Jesus and start going there. The peace in your heart will assure you that you have found the right place.
